The PHILIPPINES - Jay Bayron, the winningest amateur in 2007, will debut as a professional when he sees action in the Konica Minolta National Pro-Am set March 4-8 at The Riviera’s Langer in Silang, Cavite.

Jake Ayson, the chair of the Rule Committee of the tournament sponsored by U-Bix Corporation and organized by the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), said Jay is in high spirits and he wanted to badly win his first tournament as a pro.

“Jay scored a dramatic victory last year as an amateur in our tournament and I wish him success in his new career as a pro,” Ayson said.
