India’s Jeev Milkha Singh scrambled to a two-over-par 74 at the Masters Tournament to safely make the halfway cut on Friday but it was the end of the road for Liang Wen-chong and an injured Prayad Marksaeng.
 
Singh, the Asian Tour’s number one in 2006, battled tough playing conditions at Augusta National Golf Club, turning in 35 before dropping three bogeys, including two at the notorious Amen Corner.

Thailand’s Prayad Marksaeng believes the spirit of his late coach and mentor will be the 15th club in his bag as he challenges for Masters glory starting on Thursday.
 
The sweet-swinging Thai is aiming to become the first player from his country to play in all four rounds at Augusta National Golf Club and wants to put up a successful campaign to honour the late Supphaphorn Maphungphong, who died last November.
