Four bogeys on the front nine did not derail Australian Geoff Ogilvy from clinching the Mercedes-Benz Championship victory at the Plantation Course in Kapalua Resort, Hawaii as he ended the final round with 24-under 268.

Ogilvy, the 2006 U.S. Open champion, struggled on the front nine with bogeys on the first and second holes and another set of bogeys on the seventh and eight hole. He managed to get back his composure on the ninth hole with an eagle and ended the round with five-under 68 to claim the victory.

Australia’s Geoff Ogilvy managed to keep his leadership on the second round of the season-opening Mercedes- Benz Championship by carding a five-under 68 Friday on the par 73 Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort in Hawaii.
